About Me

I am originally trained as a medical doctor. From the very beginning of my studies I was interested in alternative ways to help people. Ways that not just treat the symptoms the person shows up with at any given time but look at the whole person – body, mind and spirit.
A treatment method that tries to find the underlying problem of an illness and by finding and treating that brings the whole body back into a state of health and wellbeing.
I studied Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM). Chinse Medicine has a completely different way of looking at the functions of the body, health and illness. Studying this ancient Medicine opened my eyes to a different way of healing.
A colleague told me about CranioSacral therapy and I found in it everything I was looking for – a way to treat people without manipulating and invading their bodies, without having to hand out pills with all their side-effects. A method to tap into the self-healing potentials that all of us possess and treat the whole person rather than just one part of it.
I trained as a CranioSacral therapist at the Upledger Institute in the UK, Germany and Ireland. I fell in love with this gentle but very powerful treatment method almost immediately. I work as a CranioSacral Therapist since almost 15 years now and helped countless people from tiny babies, to children, to adults to overcome all kinds of physical and mental problems and to lead a more balanced and happy life. I still marvel at what a tremendous change CST can have on people’s life.
I also hold a diploma in Swedish Massage. Aside from that I work as a Baby Massage Instructor showing mothers, fathers and even older siblings this fun and special way to bond with their new addition to their families.
